Eco Grants
The ECO4 scheme offers free and heavily financed heating systems to ensure all citizens have access to comfortable living. With rising bills, the government aims to provide equal healthcare and modern heating technologies to combat energy poverty. Various options are available under this scheme to prepare your home for winter. Condensing boilers not only save money but also support net zero carbon goals, raising awareness for a greener future.
The Grant Schemes now accommodate a broader range of applicants. If you were previously declined for a government grant under an earlier iteration of the ECO Scheme, you may now qualify for assistance.

Eco 4
Grants under the ECO4 Scheme are available to households that lack the funds to install energy-saving measures on their own. Insulation, solar panels, and heat pump heating systems are examples of such methods. Supported by many major energy suppliers, the Energy Company Obligation initiative aims to assist low-income or disadvantaged people in making improvements to their houses’ energy efficiency in order to reduce energy bills and carbon emissions. Eligible households can apply for free grants to install insulation, solar panels, and heat pump heating systems.

ECO Plus
The Great British Insulation Scheme is sometimes referred to as GBIS, and was formerly called ECO+. The scheme operates alongside the ECO4 scheme to provide energy efficiency solutions for homes. This scheme is currently running from 2023 to March 2026.
The £1 billion in funding is scheduled to expire in March 2026 and is meant to assist in lowering energy bills and lowering carbon emissions. In an effort to assist some of the most vulnerable households in reducing their energy expenses, ECO requires energy suppliers to offer assistance to low-income households in addition to energy-inefficient households in lower Council Tax categories.
